Attorney Tim Rooks graduated from Drew University, a small liberal arts college in Madison NJ, in 1990. He then attended law school at Wake Forest University in 1993. After working for a short time in Winston-Salem and then Morganton, he went to work in a prestigious law firm in Palm Beach County, Florida and specialized in Construction Litigation, mostly representing large commercial contractors and public owners. After five year of practice in Palm Beach County (in 2000), he returned to Morganton with his family and opened his own law practice. That practice has grown to include many areas of focus, including family law, criminal law, and construction litigation, among other areas. Tim also has been a certified family financial mediator for over 10 years and has mediated hundreds of family court disputes for other attorneys. He is married and has 3 adult children, two dogs, one cat and several grand-dogs. He loves projects and the outdoors.
